Reflections from the EARCOS conference in Bangkok

Posted by jturner56 on November 3, 2013

Sitting in a presentation by George Couros (@gcouros) on the value and importance of blogging for learning, showcasing and careers. So confirms my own and my school’s approach.

Good session earlier by Martin Skelton on “Less is More”. Using this to think about another theme “It’s always about learning” leads me to reflect on focus areas:

(1) Relationships > if we’re not together

(2) Knowledge > a lifelong journey

(3) Balance and Choice > in an overloaded, hyper-connected world

(4) Meta-cognition > importance of learning how to learn to get better

With Leadership at all levels (liked Martin’s 4 point job description / focus)
Thanks George and Martin for food for thought.
